“I have been a teacher all my life – to be precise, 45 years. It has now become a way of life for me. I have always tried to be a good teacher, but at the same time I wanted to be a teacher with a difference. My own schooling was from a convent run by German nuns. It definitely was a good school – but totally teacher oriented., wherein children barely got the opportunity to be thinkers. Being part of the academia, I came across teachers from all walks of life, and I realized how painfully poor was the methodology. The teaching was uninteresting, unimaginative and monotonous, specially for the age group of 2-10 + years. I wanted to improve the lot of teachers and thus started my long journey towards ‘In Service Training’ with a child-centric innovative approach. ‘
‘I have trained teachers in innovative methodology in about 100 schools – all over India and the Middle East. I have also conducted extensive training programmes on spoken English, Creative Writing and Expression. ‘
‘The outcome has been great ! It has made a huge difference in the teachers who have undergone this training, and been a great source of satisfaction for me, to have been able to show concrete, tangible change in how teaching is now done. ‘

2. Rashmi Kapse
“Human Psychology has always fascinated me ever since I was a child, and it is this interest that led me to study human behavior throughout my educational as well as professional life. “
“I was associated with the Executive Search industry for over 12 years, working for Asia’s fastest growing search firm called Positive Moves Consulting. I specialized in hiring CEO/CXO level candidates for Fortune 300 companies for India and South East Asia, across industries like FMCG, Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Life Insurance, Consumer Goods etc. This rich experience allowed me to understand and assess, in substantial detail, human personalities, capabilities, and skills required for each mandate. It also helped me identify skill and personality gaps that each candidate presented and how they need to be addressed.
Today I take Personality development and Life-skills workshops for school children, MBA students as well as professionals, to help them understand their own strengths, developmental areas, and how to become a confident, social human being in spite of the apparent disadvantages.”
Rashmi Kapse is a Masters in Business Administration from Delhi and completed her graduation in Applied Psychology from Delhi University.
